Former Manchester united star and Wales manager, Ryan Giggs has said that Aaron Ramsey should not fear leaving Arsenal.
He said that the midfielder is good enough to play in any league in the world.
The Gunner’s midfielder looks set to leave the Emirates after the club withdrew a contract offer to the him. Ramsey current deal will expire at the end of the season and Arsenal were believed to be close to an agreement over a new long-term contract.
However, the Welshman agent confirmed this week that the club will now let the midfielder leave but Giggs says the midfielder should embrace doing so.
“He’s a good player so he suits any league. He can play anywhere,” Metro UK quoted Giggs as saying.
“My advice would be to concentrate on his career with Arsenal [right now] and when he comes away with us.”
The reason behind Arsenal’s decision to withdraw the contract offer still remains unclear and Ramsey is still yet to fully convince new boss Unai Emery.
