Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly on Tuesday ratified the appointment of Justice Eni Esan, as the President, Customary Court of Appeal in the state.
Her ratification was sequel to a letter of nomination sent to the House by the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and read by the Speaker, Mr Olagunju Ojo, on the floor of the House.
Esanโs ratification was done through a voice vote by the lawmakers.
DAILY POST gathered that the new President of the Court of Appeal in the state was born in Ibadan in 1955.
She attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she studied Law and was called to bar in 1979.
Esan joined the services of Ministry of Justice of old Oyo State in 1981, where she rose through the ranks to become Chief Registrar of High Court in 1999.
She was later appointed a High Court Judge in 2001.
