Spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has reiterated the unflinching support of his ministry for the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State in 2019.
According to the fiery priest, the ministry has 100 per cent support for Ugwuanyi.“It is unquestionable; Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria stands for him. He is a good man; a man of peace; a perfect genius; humble and ever patient.”
Speaking during the 2018 Harvest and Thanksgiving Mass of the ministry held at its arena in Enugu, Fr. Mbaka expressed delight that the Enugu governor entrenched peace and good governance in the state.
The thanksgiving Mass was also celebrated for Ugwuanyi, other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, members of the state assembly, state executive council, PDP campaign organisation, among others, to commence campaigns for the 2019 general election as well as entrust the political activities to God.
At the church service were Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State; vice presidential candidate of the PDP, Peter Obi; and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, among other dignitaries.
Extolling Ugwuanyi’s leadership qualities, Mbaka applauded him for uniting all political parties and ensuring equitable development across the three senatorial districts of the state, adding that “Enugu has not had a leader like him.”He maintained that the ministry also gave spiritual support to Ugwuanyi backed with unceasing prayers.
“I have never seen this kind of unquestionable, magnetic, pragmatic and dynamic peace in Enugu before, because of one Gburugburu. Ugwuanyi has no enemy. He is a governor who has good relationship with the entire Nwodo family, Senator Fide Okoro, Senator Ken Nnamani, Senator Jim Nwobodo, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani and other leaders,” Mbaka declared.
