As preparation for the 2019 general elections hots up, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko federal constituency of Delta State has inaugurated its campaign committees.
PDP chairman in Isoko North Council, Godwin Ogorugba, and his Isoko South counterpart, Raphael Odorewu, performed the inauguration at the Ozoro home of House of Representatives minority leader, Leo Ogor.
Also in attendance were Tim Owhefere, Kenneth Ogba and Ferguson Onwo.
The chairmen urged members to embark on a-door-to-door campaign to sensitise the people on the need to vote for PDP candidates.
Ogor harped on the unity and peace of the constituency and urged the party faithful to embark on issue-based campaign.
The committees have the Commissioner for Housing, Joseph Ogeh, as chairman for Isoko North; while Johnson Erijo is chairman for Isoko South.
The chairman, Isoko North Council, Emmanuel Egbabor, will serve as the committee secretary, while the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, Nelson Egware, is director of media and publicity for Isoko North.
Godspower Obaro is secretary for Isoko South.
