Porto goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, has stated that he would not rule out any opportunity of re-joining Real Madrid in the future if he was offered the chance.
Casillas left Madrid in 2015 to join Porto after spending 16 years at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 37-year-old has proven to be a key figure since joining the Portuguese side, making over 100 appearances.
He, however, insisted that he would be open to returning to Madrid, while confirming he is still available for the Spain national team if required.
โI think I did the right thing,โ Casillas told Movistar+.
โI think had I continued at Real Madrid, my time there wouldโve ended worse than it did.โ
Casillas added: โIf Spain call me up, would I go back? Iโd be delighted to. If Madrid called me? Of course, I canโt forget where I grew up.โ
Casillas won a lot of trophies and individual honours during his time with the Los Blancos.
