A group, Reclamation Mandate has called on former Senate leader and Chairman, Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba to contest for a senate seat in the 2019 elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
ย
The group, in a statement by the Convener, Mr Edo Owan, said Ndoma-Egbaโ€™s sterling performance at the National Assembly while representing Cross River Central was notable, which was why they want him back at the senate.
ย
โ€œWhen a lawmaker representing his people goes beyond law making to attract projects that are dear to his people, then that representative shows the concept of efficient and effective representation,โ€ he said. The group said the former senate leader should return because he could be trusted with their mandate, aside that he is accessible, which is lacking since he left.
